Oh, you're out and about with no money? Lucky you! On the front of the T-shirt is a 6 Yen coin, use it to choose and try the experience you like best!

Tenoha is a Japanese shop in Milan that since 2018 has been bringing Japanese culture to its community through innovative products, workshops, authentic flavours and immersive events. To celebrate their sixth anniversary, Tenoha launched a call to design a celebrative t-shirt that would include 'roku' (六), the kanji for number 6 often associated with luck and harmony and that would be inspired by Japanese culture and the concept behind Tenoha. For my illustration, I chose a double-sided design with two main colours, the red typical of Japan and the leaf green of Tenoha. While drawing, I was inspired by vending machines (I read that there are almost 4 million of them in Japan!) as a container of what Tenoha has represented to me over the years. In this fun 24h distributor, the available products symbolise some of the experiences that the Tenoha team has been promoting and, to celebrate its birthday, they make up the shape of 'roku' (六).
